Jo Koi Vrindavan Ras Chaakhai.
Khaati Lage Khaand Aru Shatras, Aan Desh Ki Daakhai. [1]
Parayau Rahe Kunjan Ke Kone, Shyam Radhika Bhaakhai.
Bhookh Lage Tab Paavai Bhaaji, Nirakh Rahe Taru Shaakhai. [2]
Pran Samaan Tajai Nahi Seeva, Lobh Dikhaavai Laakhai.
Jan Govind’ Balveer Kripa Son, Jo Brajraani Raakhai. [3]
- Shri Jan Govind Ji
The one who has tasted the nectar of Vrindavan finds bitterness even in sugar and eight kinds of nectar. Such a person experiences anguish when visiting any foreign land. [1]
Instead, He finds peace in lying in the secluded corner of any bower of Vrindavan, engrossed in the bhajan of Shri Radha Krishna. When hungry, He sustains on simple vegetables, all the while dedicating Himself to devotion amidst the trees and vines of Vrindavan. [2]
Despite the overwhelming temptation presented to him, He remains steadfast in residing in Vrindavan and is unable to cross the boundary of Vrindavan as if it is his life essence. Shri Jan Govind says, “He has thoroughly learned through the grace of the Rasik saints that He, who is sheltered by Sri Radhika Maharani, can stay in Vrindavan, otherwise, no one can even enter this realm”.
