Bagula Bhaktan So Dariye Ri - Shri Jugalpriya Ji

(Raag Maandh)
Bagula Bhaktan So Dariye Ri.
Ek Pag Thade Dhyan Dharat Hain, Deen Meen Laun Kin Bachiye Ri.
Upar Tein Ujjal Rang Deekhat, Hiye Kapat Hinsak Rakhiye Ri. [1]
Inte Doorahi Rahe Bhalai, Nikat Gaye Phandani Phansiye Ri.
Jugalpriya Mayawi Poore, Bhuli Na In Sang Pal Basiye Ri. [2]

- Sri Jugal Priya

Exercise caution around Bagula Bhakt (heron-devotees), as they symbolize hypocrites. Just like a heron standing on one leg may seem as if doing meditation, however, it swiftly transforms into a predator when a fish approaches, making the unsuspecting prey. Likewise, these hypocrites appear like real devotees, adorned in attire and delivering lectures, however, their true nature mirrors that of the heron, possessing violent tendencies and deceit at heart. [1]

People should keep their distance from such hypocrites, as approaching them may result in entrapment. Shri Yugal Priya Ji says that these heron-devotees are completely deceptive, lacking genuine love for God. Even for a moment, one should not do their association. [2]
