(Raag Dhanashree)
Jau Ham Bhale Bure Tau Tere.
Tumhain Hamari Laaj-Badayi, Binati Sun Prabhu Mere. [1]
Sab Taji Tum Sarnagat Aayau, Dridh Kari Charan Gahere.
Tum Pratap-Bal Badat Na Kaahun, Nidar Bhaye Sab Chere. [2]
Aur Dev Sab Rank Bhikhari, Tyage Bahut Anere.
Surdas Prabhu Tumhari Kripa Tai, Paye Sukh Ju Ghanere. [3]
- Shri Surdas, Sursagar
Whether we are good or bad, we belong to you. Our reputation and fame are in your hands; Please hear my prayer, O Lord. [1]
Abandoning all, we sought your shelter, firmly clasping your feet. Due to the strength of your glory, we harbor no concern for others. All your servants have embraced a fearless state. [2]
Other deities are like poor beggars, I’ve left all considering them worthless. Surdas says, "O Lord Krishna, only through your grace, one attains abundant happiness." [3]
