Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji was born in Vrindavan on the 3rd day of the dark fortnight in the month of Ashwin (October) in 1885. His father Goswami Shri Govardhanlal Ji was the Sewadhikari (one who does personal service to the deity) in the Raas lineage of Shri Radhavallabh temple.

All glory to Shri HIta Radhalal Ji, son of Goswami Shri Govardhanlal ji, the treasure of nectar, the embodiment of love, who is a fraction of Shri Radha and who has appeared in Shri Vrindavan to provide happiness to everyone on the 3rd day of dark fortnight in the month of Ashwin.

Childhood:
Right from the time of the birth of Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, he accomplished such amazing tasks that even his parents started thinking that this child was not an ordinary human being.
Janmat Hi Pitu Parchau Paayau, Mangal Bhuri Rachayau.
- Pritamdas Ji, Hita Chandra Prakash, Goswami Radhalal Ju Ki Mangal Badhayi, P. No. 236

It is natural for parents to have an influence on their children since childhood. This is why he was interested in the service of Shri Radha Vallabh Lal Ji since childhood. Along with the personal service of Shri Radhavallabh Lal Ji, he also used to do the culinary service, the service of adorning clothes and ornaments, the service of flower decoration, the service of singing verses, and the service of Sohni (brooming) with his hands. Goswami Govardwanlal Ji's disciple Radhikasharan Ji has described his service-oriented nature in the following words -
Sevat Jugalkishor, Abd Jab Panch Kain.
Karat Mangala Prat, Lakhi Main Jaanch Kain.
Jaay Dekhi Arati, Kar-Kamal Pherat Sohani.
Kaha Kahaun Main Chhakani Apani, Dekhi Bhav Su Mohani.
Hot Acharaj Paay Darasan, Param Laghu Ati Baal Ju.
Jai Jai Shrihit Roop, Shriradhalal Ju.
- Radhikasharan Ji, ShriHita Radhikasharan Ji Ki Vani, P. No. 39

Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji used to serve Shri Radhavallabh Ji at the age of five. I have seen him performing Mangala Aarti in the morning. Whenever I used to go for Aarti darshan, Goswami Ji himself would perform Sohni Service (brooming) with his own hands. I would become overwhelmed with emotions just by seeing him, which I cannot describe. I was surprised to see the service of such a small child.
Pritam Das Ji has also described Goswami Radha Lal Ji's service towards his worshipful deity in these words -
Sab Kaal Hit Kari-Kari Ladaye, Hit Ladaiti-Laal Ri.
Vasan-Bhushan Raag-Bhog Su, Prem Yut Hit Paal Ri.
- Pritamdas Ji, Hita Chandra Prakash, Goswami Radhalal Ju Ki Mangal Badhayi, P. No. 233

Goswami Shri HIta Radhalal ji consistently showered affection upon Shri Shyamashyam. He devoted himself to the meticulous care of adorning clothes and ornaments, diligently attending to the service of providing food and singing verses with profound love.

On becoming an adult, Radhalal Ji, through his scholarly teachings, crushed the false pride of many nondevotees and directed them toward the path of God. Making this fact clear, Pritamdas Ji has written in his introductory letter that -
Goswami-Sir-Mukut, Jayati Shriradhalala.
Shrihita-Pad Dridh Vishvas, Dharyau Pad-Pankaj Bhala.
Vimukhjanani-Mukh Bhanji, Saran Hit-Marag Aane.
Shanke Nahin Jiy Naink, Radhikaballabh Gaane.
Saranpal Nirmal Hriday, Hit Preetam Nij Saran Liy.
Shriharivansh-Mayank-Kul, Dhany Ujaagar Op Diy.
- Pritamdas Ji, Hita Chandra Prakash, Goswami Radhalal Ju Ki Mangal Badhayi, P. No. 210

Praise be to Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, who led the evil-hearted onto the divine path. Fearless of anyone, he consistently sang the virtues of Shri Radhavallabh Ji. The devoted and pure-hearted Shri Goswami Ji graciously took me under his shelter. Blessed is Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, who manifested in the illustrious Shri Harivansh clan.

In 1906, Goswami Jugalballabh Ji's disciple Shrihitadas Ji in the commentary of Hita Malika named 'Rasik Lata' has described that Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji seated with his father Shri Govardhanlal Ji -
"ShriJugallal Ji, son of ShriRasviharilal Ji; his twin sons, Shri Govardhanlal ji, elder, Shri Chhotelal Ji, younger. The verses of the annual festival written by the elder Shri Govardhanlal Ji are captivating. Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, son of Shri Govardhanlal Ji. Shri Harshalal Ji, son of younger brother, Shri Chhotelal Ji. These two fathers and two sons are present."
- Hitadas Ji, Rasiklata, P. No. 137

Pangs of Separation from Vrindavan :
Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, who had been living in Vrindavan since his birth, had to go to Todi Fatehpur outside the limits of Vrindavan for some reason. After spending more time there, the pain of separation from Vrindavan emanating from Goswami Ji's heart reveals the love for Shri Vrindavan in his heart -
Kab Kari Hau Kripa Manaun Charan Ki Seva.
Shrivrindavipin Basau Tumhin Sudhi Leva.
Ab Vegahin Sudhi Kari Lehu Daya Ke Data.
Ham Padhe Pahadani Beech Pran Ab Jata.
Apani Hi Kripa Kari Vegi, Paas Gahi Lejai.
Shriradhalal Hit Roop Rang Mein Bheejai.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandha (12)

O Shri Radhavallabh Ji, when will I receive your divine blessings? When will I have the privilege of serving your Lotus Feet? O merciful, please call me to Shri Vrindavan. Lying here in the mountains, about to die, I pray you to call me to your presence and immerse me in the hues of your boundless love.

Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji has also described in a verse the sacred aura of Lord Shri Jugalkishor Ji seated in the fort of Todi Fatehpur -
Aaj Ati Shobha Shrihita Manhin.
Thaadhe Yugalkishor Jor Sang, Todi Fatehpur Chhanhin.
Jal - Varsha Jhuki Aayi Chahundishi, Shobhit Kile Sarasanhin.
Roop-Ghata Ki Chhata Manhi Shrihita Nikunjali Dhing Jaanhi.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandha (16)

The divine couple is seated within the enchanting fort of Todi Fatehpur, whose beauty is beyond description. Rainwater permeates the fort from all directions, while Shri Shyamashyam, radiating the splendor of their divine form, proceeds towards Shri Hita Nikunj Ali.

Composition :
As a result of innovative research, his composition named 'Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pada Bandh' has been received from Shrihita Radhagopal Temple, Kolaras (Madhya Pradesh). In this composition, the entire Varshotsav has been described in 26 verses, which includes both daily and occasional festive compositions. This ancient text was copied in 1914 by Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji's disciple Radhikasharan Ji, famously named 'Santdas' Ji. On this basis, the time of composition of 'Varshotsav Chhabisi' is determined to be before 1914.

Verses of Basant (spring) and Holi by Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji :

(Raag Basant)
Kaisau Adbhut Roop Pragat Bhayau, Sajanee Aaju Basant.
Radhe-Roop Niharat Pyarau, Lalita Ju Drigani Hasant.
Keshariya Sab Ang Suhayau, Saari Ur Ten Khasant.
Shobha Hita Ju Van Par Chhayi, Drig Radhalal Dhasant.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandha (1)

O Sakhi, behold the marvelous form that has manifested in this spring season! Shri Krishna gazes upon Shri Radha, while Shri Lalita's eyes brim with joy. Every part of the divine couple is adorned with the hue of saffron, and the forest exhibits a captivating beauty, a sight that has now etched itself into my eyes.

(Raag Kafi)
Lal Rang Bhari Khelat Hori.
It Daph - Dhol - Pakhavaj Baajat, Jhaanjh-Veen Rang- Bori.
It Pichkaari Takikain Maarat, Pyari Gulal Kar Jhori.
Phag-Suhag Jhalak Drig Dharakai, Hita Radhalal Ki Ori.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandha (2)

Shri Krishna is playing Holi with colors. On one side, tambourine, drum, and pakhawaj are being played and on the other side, cymbals and veena are painted in colors. Shri Krishna watches and shoots Pichkari and Shri Radha applies colored powder with her hands. A glimpse of this Holi Leela of Shri Shyamashyam is visible in front of me.

Verses of Rasiya (nectar) and Dol (swing) :

Teri Murati Radha Var Pyari.
Sang Liyain Sab Sakha Samaaji, Rang Bharani Ki Chhabi Nyari.
It Brajnari Sabhi Gori-Sang, Bheenji Gayi Phoolani Kyari.
Radhalal Ki Baanh Pakarikain, Gulacha Mukh Dini Uchchaari.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandh (3)

The glimpse of Shri Radha's beloved Shri Krishna is very sweet. The groups of cowherd friends together with Krishna are present in the water guns filled with colors, whose glimpse is unique. As soon as the Sakhis came with Shri Radha, the forest of flowers along with them also got drenched with the color of the water guns. Shri Radha holds Shri Krishna's arm and gives him a light punch full of love while chanting "ho-ho-ho-ho-hori hai" on his cheeks.

(Raag Sarang)
Jhoolat Dol Gulaabi Rang Mein.
Pyari- Chhabi Dekhani Drig Atakyau, Shrihita Lal Jhulaavai Sang Mein.
Sarang Svar Sahachari Mili Gavati, Baajat Saaj Saje Munhachang Mein.
Sobha Dekhi Hriday Upatyau, Hit Raadhaalaal Ke Nainn Umang Mein.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandh (4)

In a rosy swing, Shri Shyama Ju gracefully sways. Captivated by her sight, Shri Krishna's gaze remains fixed, gently propelling the swing. The Sakhis serenade in the melodious tones of Sarang raga, accompanied by the enchanting sounds of diverse musical instruments. Witnessing the captivating beauty of this scene, my heart stirs with restlessness, and my eyes brim with exhilaration.

Yearning for divine Vrindavan :

Shrivyas Mishr Ke Laal! Araj Suni Leejai.
Mo Adham Kutil Ki Or Drigani Dhari Deejai.
Ham Kiyau Kaha Aparadh Phirain Rang Bhule.
Tum Se Udar Par Sada, Chitt Mein Phule.
Kab Kari Hau Kripa Manaoon Charan Ki Sewa.
Shrivrindavipin Basau Tumahin Sudhi Leva.
- Goswami Shri Hita Radhalal Ji, Varshotsav Chhabbisi Pad Bandh (12)

O Shri Harivansh, the son of Vyas Mishra, I beseech you to heed my plea. Cast your compassionate gaze upon me, despite my unworthiness and crookedness. What transgression have I committed that you have forsaken me? My heart rejoices at being sheltered under the benevolence of someone as generous as you. When will you graciously extend your services to me? I implore you, be merciful and establish me in the sacred abode of Vrindavan.
