Nainan Mein Pichkari Dayi - Shri Shaligram Ji (Braj Ke Lokgeet)

Nainan Mein Pichkari Dayi, Mohe Gaari Dayi, Hori Kheli Na Jaay.
Kyon Re Langar Langarayi Mose Kini, Kesar Kich Kapolan Dini
Le Gulal Thado Thado Muskay, Hori Kheli Na Jaay. [1]
Nek Na Kaan Karat Kaahu Ki, Najar Bachaave Bhaiya Baldau Ki
Panghat Son Ghar Lon Batraay, Hori Kheli Na Jaay. [2]
Ochak Kuchan Kumkuma Maare, Rang Surang Sees Pe Daare
Yah Udham Sun Sas Risaay, Hori Kheli Na Jaay. [3]
Hori Ke Din Mose Duno Duno Atake, Saligaram Kaun Jaay Hatake
Ang Chupat Hansi Ha Ha Khaay, Hori Kheli Na Jaay. [4]

- Shri Shaligram Ji (Braj Ke Lokgeet)

O Krishna, you sprayed colors into my eyes with a water gun and even teased me. I no longer wish to partake in Holi festivities with you.
Oh mischievous one, why did you cause such trouble for me? You smeared saffron paste on my cheeks, and now, holding the colored powder in your hand, you stand there smiling. I cannot engage in Holi celebrations with you anymore. [1]

O Krishna, You don't listen to anyone even a little bit, and keep hiding from your elder brother Balram. You keep talking with me till I reach home from the watering place, I don't want to play Holi with You anymore. [2]

O Krishna, you suddenly appear and apply kumkum on my body parts, and sprinkle red color on my head, causing my mother-in-law great distress. I can no longer partake in Holi festivities with you. [3]

Shri Shaligram Ji conveys that a Sakhi tells Shri Krishna, "During the days of Holi festival, you often hover around me. Who will dare to argue with you? If I say anything to you, you pinch my body and burst into laughter. I can no longer celebrate Holi with you." [4]
