O friend, today in the groves of Vṛndāvan, the friends of Śrī Rādhā have playfully captured Śrī Śyāmsundar amidst the vibrant celebration of Holi. [1]
Surrounding Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Śrī Rādhā, with a gentle touch and the vibrant hues of love, smeared color upon His face and bestowed upon Him a loving slap on His cheek, thereby binding Him in the chains of Her affection. [2]
Then, Śrī Rādhā and Her friends made Śrī Kṛṣṇa dance to their tune, playing drums and making His whole body move to the rhythm, thus coloring the entire atmosphere. [3]
Śrī Sarasāmadhurī Jī says that upon seeing such a form of Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Kṛṣṇa has enshrined Her in His heart; this nectar is extremely rare and is destined only for Śrī Rādhā’s sakhīs (friends). [4]
