Shri Krishna's lotus-like eyes are like the Khanjan bird and are enraptured by the beauty of Shri Radha’s nectar. They are exquisitely beautiful, innocent, and playful, refusing to be confined, even for a moment, within the cage of the eyelids. [1]
O, dear friend, these eyes seem preoccupied elsewhere, so why should they linger here? Ever fickle, they remain fixed on the same object—Shri Radha's enchanting form—restlessly ignoring other playful sights. [2]
Shri Krishna's eyes extend to his ears as if drawn towards the earrings adorning them. Shri Surdas Ji says that if not held a black line of collyrium of Sri Radha, Krishna's eyes would have long ago flown away. [3]
