Keerat Kishori Te Keerat Badhat Ati - Braj Ke Kavitt

Keerat Kishori Te Keerat Badhat Ati,
Gori Ke Kahe Te Gunatayi Adhikaat Hain. [1]
Laadali Kahe Te Lal Param Dayal Hot,
Pyari Ke Kahe Te Sakhi Param Sihaat Hain. [2]
Thakur Kahe Te Thakurayan Badhat Ati,
Thakurayan Badhat Te Aur Keerat Badh Jaat Hain. [3]
Kahat Kishori Ke Aghat Hai Na Mero Jiy,
Radha Ke Kahe Te Koti Baadha Mit Jaat Hain. [4]

- Braj Ke Kavitt

When one utters “Kirati Kiśorī” (daughter of mother Kīrti), one is bestowed with “Kīrti” (fame); chanting the name “Gorī” (name of Rādhā) brings virtue to one’s being. [1]

Addressing (Śrī Rādhā) as “Lāḍilī”, Śrī Lālji (Kṛṣṇa) becomes immensely pleased; uttering her name “Pyārī” overwhelms the sakhīs. [2]

The utterance of “Ṭhakur” not only brings prosperity but also induces goodwill. [3]

My heart is endlessly unsatisfied with chanting “Kiśorī”; when one chants “Rādhā”, millions of obstacles are removed. [4]
