(Kavitt)
Jahi Nij Bhaktna Sau Aur Koi Pyarau Nahi,
Aj-Siv-Dau-Bam Jahi Nahim Pyari Hai. [1]
Bhaktna Ke Pache Dola, Hit Ki Si Bani Bolai,
Prem Ke Adhin Nat-Nagar Bihari Hai. [2]
Gopin Ke Man Bhai Nana Bidhi Puri Karai,
Chhed-Chhad Vaki Sab Gopin Sukhakari Hai. [3]
Saanvari Sakhi! Ri! Tu Prem Panth Janai Nahi,
Bolai Pandita-Si, Pai Nipat Ganvari Hai. [4]
- Braj Ke Kavitt
Once, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, disguised as a sākhī, approached Śrī Rādhā and began to criticize Himself. When Śrī Rādhā Rānī heard these words, She said:

Once, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, disguised as a sākhī, approached Śrī Rādhā and began to criticize Himself. When Śrī Rādhā Rānī heard these words, She said:
Nobody is dearer to Him than His own devotees, not even Brahmā, Śiva, Balarāma, or Lakṣmī. [1]
He lovingly follows His devotees, uttering sweet words; Know that the playful Lord Bihārī is bound only by love. [2]
He delights the gopīs’ hearts in countless ways; His mischievous teasing always brings joy to the gopīs. [3]
O Sānvarī (dark‑complexioned) sākhī! You fail to grasp the essence of love. You talk like a paṇḍit (learned scholar) yet know nothing of its depths. [4]
