(Sawaiya)
Jogi Jati Tapasi Kin Hou, Mudaay Ke Mood Phirau Sab Dwari. [1]
Chaakar Hai Hari Ke Jag Mein, Puni Kukarte Karti Atibhari. [2]
Pet Lapet Latai Sigre Jap, Jog Ghate Kalikal Manjhaari. [3]
Mohi Bharoso Kharoso Bhayo, Bhaju Kunjaviharini Kunjabihari. [4]
- Braj Ke Sawaiya
What is the benefit of becoming a yogi, ascetic, or tapasvī, shaving one's head, and begging at every door? [1]
Even those who appear like servants of Śrī Hari in this world often get entangled in worldly desires and behave like dogs. [2]
People may practice japa and yoga, but in this Kali Yuga, their minds remain entangled in worldly attachments. [3]
I have no concern with these practices of yoga, japa, or penance. My firm trust lies in Śrī Kuñja Bihārī and Śrī Kuñja Vihāriṇī. Serving and loving them selflessly is the only purpose of my life. [4]
