Describing the significance of Braj Rāj (the sacred sand of Braj), Śrī Śukadeva Paramhaṃsa Jī states that even great personalities like Uddhava and Lord Brahmā consider it a rare treasure. The divine couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, themselves have glorified this Braj Rāj through Their divine words, with Śrī Śeṣa Jī bearing witness to its greatness. [1]

Śrī Bihārin Deva says that relying on its strength, we have cast aside all societal norms and broken every boundary with joy. Fear, doubt, labor, and rules have been eliminated from our hearts, and this divine sand has fulfilled our every desire. That is why we constantly place this sacred Braj Rāj upon our foreheads. [2]
