Shakti Nahi Dhruv Si Akhand Tap Kaise Karun,
Bhakti Na Prahlad Si Ram Ram Kehne Ki. [1]
Ambarish Tuly Dridh Vrat Ka Niyam Nahi,
Harishchandra Si Na Dridhata Kasht Sahne Ki. [2]
Moradhwaj Jaisa Mujhe Dharm Ka Bhi Prem Nahi,
Shraddha Nahi Sur Si Prem-Path Gahne Ki. [3]
Aradhana Na Aur Koi Kar Sakta Nath,
Sadhana Ek Meri Vrindavan Rahne Ki. [4]

O Lord! I do not possess the strength like Dhruva to perform unwavering penance,
Nor do I have the devotion like Prahlāda to chant Your holy name constantly. [1]

I cannot uphold vows with the firmness of King Ambarīṣa,
Nor do I have the endurance like Harishchandra to bear immense hardships. [2]

I lack the love for righteousness like Moradhwaj,
Nor do I have the unwavering faith like Śrī Sūrdās in this path of divine love. [3]

O Lord! I am incapable of performing any other spiritual practice,
My only true sādhanā is to reside in Śrī Vṛndāvan Dham. [4]
