Bhramana Bhramayau Maya Moh Mad Liptaayau,
Vrithan Jag Baadan Mein Umar Bita Kari. [2]
Lal Balbir Mati Heen Main Malin Peen,

Krishn Ali Ju Ki Kripa Drishti Bar Paay Paay,

Neither did I perform yogic practices, sacrifices, chanting, austerities, or pilgrimages, nor did I ever listen to the sacred stories of Lord Hari. [1]
Wandering aimlessly, entangled in illusion, bound by attachment and ego, I wasted my whole life in useless worldly debates. [2]
Foolish, impure, and steeped in sorrow, not even once did I serve the true rasika devotees. [3]
Yet by the mere glimpse of grace from Kṛṣṇa Ali Jū, my beloved Gurudev, I have been blessed to become a humble maidservant at the lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā Thākuraṇī. [4]
