- Shri Roop Rasik Devacharya

O dear friend, just behold, this sight is the very essence of beauty. By the Yamuna’s banks, under the cool shade of a kadamba tree, the divine couple Shri Shyama Shyam stand, their arms entwined. [1]

Shri Krishna plays sweet melodies on his flute, and Shri Radha, with a gentle voice, sings the ragas. Shyamsundar is the very breath of Braj, and Sri Radha reigns as the supreme queen. [2]

Shri Ruprasikji says: “O friend, hide behind the bushes and see this moment, this hour, this time—it is truly blessed. Shri Radha and Shyamsundar are entirely immersed in each other’s divine beauty and nectar.” [3]
