Kaam Hi Na Krodh Jaakai, Lobh Hi Na Moh Taakai,
Mad Hi Na Machhar Na, Kou Na Vikaarau. [1]
Dukh Hi Na Sukh Manai, Paap Hi Na Puny Jaanai,
Harash Na Shok Aanai, Deh Hi Tai Nyarau Hai. [2]
Ninda Na Prashansa Kar, Raag Hi Na Dosh Dharai,
Len Hi Na Den Jaakai, Kachhu Na Pasaarau Hai. [3]
Sundar Kahat Taaki, Agam Agadh Gati,

- Shri Sundardas Ji
One who harbors neither lust nor anger, neither greed nor attachment, neither pride nor envy, and remains untouched by every stain of impurity. [1]
One who makes no distinction between joy and sorrow, nor between sin and virtue; who neither rejoices nor grieves, and is free from bodily awareness. [2]
One who is beyond both praise and blame, free from attachment and aversion; who seeks no give‑and‑take and accumulates nothing in this material world. [3]
Sundar Dās says, the state of such a saint is immeasurable and unfathomable; such a rare saint is dearer than life to Lord Śrī Rām Himself. [4]
