The charming cowherd boys have anointed their bodies with turmeric and curd. They have adorned themselves with various ornaments and beautiful garments — and in their splendor, even kings and queens appear dim. [4]
All of Braj, male and female alike, are absorbed in the ecstatic bliss, lost in dance and song. Shri Hariram Vyas says that on Radhashtami, all Rasikas are overjoyed as their bodies and minds are immersed in nectar, while monotonous jivas (without rasa) have fled into the corners in embarrassment. [5]
