(Sawaiya)
Brajraaj Son Naata Juda Ab Hai, Tab Jag Ki Kya Parvaah Karein.
Bas Yaad Mein Rote Rahein Unki, Palkon Par Ashru Pravah Karein. [1]
Jitni Veh Door Rahein Hum Son, Utni Hum Unki Chaah Karein,
Sukh Adbhut Prem Ki Peer Mein Hai, Ham Aah Karein Vo Vaah Karein. [2]
- Braj Ke Sawaiya
Now that I belong to the Lord of Braj (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), why should I care about this selfish world anymore? I will keep shedding tears in loving remembrance of Him, and let my eyelids remain forever wet with love. [1]
Even if Śyām Sundar ignores me endlessly, I will not retreat; rather, my love for Him will only grow. There is a unique rasa in the pangs of separation. My only hope is that when I sigh in love, those sighs become so dear to Him that He smiles joyfully and says, "Vāha!" (Wow). [2]
