In the commentary of Bhaktamāl, Śrī Priyadās Jī narrates a unique incident from the life of Śrī Harirām Vyās Jī —
On the full moon night of Śārad Pūrṇimā, when the Divine Couple (Śrī Rādhā‑Kṛṣṇa) performed the divine Rāsa, the entire atmosphere became immersed in the color of divine love, whose sweetness cannot be expressed in words. [1]
During the Rāsa, Śrī Rādhā displayed such a wondrous movement, like a sudden flash of lightning; Her brilliance illuminated the entire Rāsa Maṇḍal, casting a glow in every direction. [2]
Meanwhile, as the Rāsa continued, an anklet from Śrī Rādhājū’s foot fell off; upon witnessing this scene, Harirām Vyās Jī’s heart burst forth with intense, restless love, and instantly he broke his sacred thread (janeū) and tied it at Śrī Rādhā’s feet in place of the anklet. [3]
Afterwards, in front of all the rasika saints, he said, “I wore this sacred thread all my life, but it never had real meaning; today, it became truly valuable by being used in Rādhā Jī’s service” — this touched everyone’s hearts and filled all the devotees with divine love. [4]
