Hai Hari Te Harinam Badero - Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji Ki Vani (15)

Hai Hari Ten Harinam Badero, Tako Moodh Karat Kat Jhero.
Pragat Daras Muchukundahi Deenho, Tahu Ayusu Bho Tap Kero.
Sut-Hit Naam Ajamila Leeno, Ya Bhav Mein Na Kiyo Phiri Phero. [1]
Par-Apavad Svad Jiyo Rachyo, Vritha Karat Bakvad Ghanero.
Tako Dasyo Ans ‘Gadadhar’, Hari Hari Kahat Jat Kaha Tero. [2]

- Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji, Shri Gadadhar Bhatt Ji Ki Vani (15)

The Holy Name of Lord Hari is even greater than Hari Himself. O foolish one, why do you hesitate to accept this truth? Consider the evidence—King Mucakuṇda was granted direct darśana of the Lord, yet he was instructed to continue his austerities. However, the sinful Ajāmila merely called out the name “Nārāyaṇa” while addressing his son, and by the power of that very Name, the attendants of Viṣṇu came to protect him. Thereafter, engaging in devotion, he became forever freed from the cycle of birth and death. Thus, the merciful Name of the Lord was the guiding mentor in his redemption. [1]

Why do you waste your time in meaningless talk and worldly gossip? Śrī Gadādhara Jī says: Of the time you waste in meaningless talks, if even one-tenth were spent chanting “Hari, Hari,” what harm would come to you? Even a slight effort in this direction would secure your highest good. [2]
