Śrī Lalitā Sakhī, the ācāryā of nikuñja-sevā, teaches the group of sakhīs the methods and refined modes of love within nikuñja-rasa. O sakhī, may such grace be bestowed that I may attain residence in Vṛṣabhānapura (Barsānā) — this is the deepest longing of my heart. [1]
While residing in Barsānā, I shall constantly serve the lotus feet of Śrī Svāminī Jī, Śrī Rādhā, with exclusive love. In the bliss of that service, all awareness of the body will be completely forgotten. Śrī Vaṁśī Alī says that may I ever roll in the sacred dust of Braja, so that the temptation of worldly wealth, opulence, and honor may never even touch my heart. [2]
