Kahan Haun Vrindavan Taji Jaun - Shri Hariram Vyas, Vyas Vani, Purvardh (18)

(Raag Sarang)
Kahan Haun Vrindavan Taji Jaun,
Mose Neech Poch Kaun Anat Na Hari Binu Aur Na Thaun. [1]
Sukh Punjanikunjani Ke Dekhat, Vishay Vishai Kyon Paun,
Ek Aagi Ko Dadhyau Dooji, Aagi Mañjh Na Bujhaun. [2]
Ek Prasann Na Mopar Nisi Din, Chhin Chhin Sabai Kudaun,
Radharavan Saran Binu Ab Haun, Kake Pet Samaun. [3]
Bhojan Chhajan Kee Chinta Nahin, Marivehu Na Daraun,
Sir Par Sindur Vyas Dharyau Ab, Hvay Hai Syam Sahaun. [4]

- Shri Hariram Vyas, Vyas Vani, Purvardh (18)

Where could I possibly go, leaving this sacred realm of Vṛndāvana? For a fallen and lowly soul like me, there is no refuge other than the lotus feet of Śrī Kṛṣṇa. [1]

Having beheld the absolute bliss within these bower-groves, why should I ever return to the poison of worldly desires? Having already been scorched by the fires of material existence once, I shall not seek to quench my thirst by stepping back into that same flame. [2]

The world is never pleased with me, and I am met with nothing but betrayal all the time. Without the shelter of Śrī Rādhāramaṇa, whose lap could shelter me now? [3]

I no longer worry about food or clothing, nor do I fear death. Śrī Harirām Vyāsa Jī says: I have now adorned my head with the vermilion-like dust of Vṛndāvana, and henceforth Śrī Śyāmasundara Himself will be my protector and support. [4]
