A sakhī, describing the captivating beauty of Śrī Kṛṣṇa to her intimate companion, says:
O sakhī! The effect of Mohana’s supremely sweet and divine glance cannot be expressed in mere words. That glance has penetrated so deeply into my heart that, however much I try to remove it, it simply will not leave. [1]
What can I do, where can I go now, O friend? I can no longer endure even a single moment without Śrī Hari! Dāsī Dayābāī says: O beloved Lord, bestower of all joy, Śrī Kṛṣṇa! I offer myself again and again at Your lotus feet. Please come and meet me without delay. [2]
