O Lord! I have now caught hold of You; that is, I have now come into Your exclusive shelter. You are renowned as the compassionate protector of the humble, so please rectify all my misfortunes. [1]
On one hand, I am extremely foolish, deceitful, and offensive, and on top of that, I carry the heavy burden of countless sins upon my head. Therefore, the sole prayer of this wicked Sūradāsa is that You kindly keep me at Your lotus feet, granting me the shelter of Your divine refuge. [2]
