- Shri Ramasakhiji Maharaj, Shri Bhaktiras Manjari

The sakhīs repeatedly offer their very lives for Śrī Yugala, waving water over Them and drinking it—a loving and auspicious ritual in which water is waved over the beloved ones so that no obstacle or inauspiciousness may ever touch Them. [1]

Gazing repeatedly upon the divine form of this divine Couple, who are the very treasure-house of beauty, the hearts of Their sakhīs swell with joy. The group of sakhīs looks beautiful all around Them, and the faces of all these sakhīs are radiant, like mines of incomparable beauty. [2]

All those sakhīs appear as though they are delicate buds plucked from the very same branch; they are all of the same youthful, adolescent age, and their complexions glow like pure gold. Beholding this peerless beauty of Her own private kuñja, Śrī Rāmasakhī wanders about with a heart filled with supreme bliss. [3]
