To whom can I express this deep agony of love within my heart? For even if I were to speak of it to someone, no one would believe it. Everyone merely wishes to offer superficial consolation, but no one can truly recognize this affliction of love that dwells deep within. [1]
Śrī Ṭhākur says that only one who has felt the intense ache and sharp pangs of love can experience it within his heart. Until one’s own feet have suffered from cracked heels, one can never truly realize the pain of another. [2]
