O Banavārī (Lord Kṛṣṇa)! Who else will listen to my plea now? I see no one else as capable and powerful as You; to whom then can I go to express the deep anguish of my heart? [1]
O Kuñjabihārī! You know all that lies within every heart. You are the refuge of the shelterless and the tender-hearted protector of the humble. You have always come to the aid of Your servants, graciously fulfilling the deepest longings of their hearts. [2]
O Yadupati! Where else can I seek refuge but in You? Please dispel all my fears and take me under Your protection. Śrī Sūradāsa Jī says, “Again and again I offer my very self at Your lotus feet. What offence have I committed that, in Your displeasure, You seem to have withdrawn Your gracious mercy from me?” [3]
