Dari Gayo Manamohan Pasi.
Aambaki Daali Koyal Ika Bolai,
Mero Maran Aru Jag Keri Hansi. [1]
Birahaki Mari Main Ban-Ban Dolun,
Praan Tajun Karavat Lyoon Kasi.
Mirake Prabhu Hari Abinasi,
Tum Mere Thakur Main Teri Dasi. [2]
- Shri Mirabai
Manmohana Śrī Kṛṣṇa has cast the snare of His love upon me. Now, when the cuckoo sings from the branch of the mango tree, that becomes as painful as death to me, and the world mocks me. [1]
I wander from forest to forest, afflicted by this separation, and to find liberation from this grief, I am prepared to go to Kāśī and lay down my life [by taking the Karvaṭ]. Mīrābāī says, "O imperishable Lord Hari! You alone are my Master, and I am Your maidservant." [2]
