Tedhe Hu Sundar Nain Tedhe Mukh Kahai Vain,
Tedhi Hu Mukut Baat Tedhi Kachh Kah Gayo. [1]
Tedhe Ghugharare Baal Tedhi Gal Phulamal,
Tedhi Bulak Mere Chittamen Basai Gayo. [2]
Tedhe Pag Upar Nupur Jhanakar Karen,
Bansuri Bajaya Mere Chittakon Churaigayo. [3]
Aisi Teri Tedhinako Dhyaan Dharai Mayaram,
Latapati Paag Men Lapet Man Lai Gayau. [4]
- Shri Mayaram
Everything about Tribhaṅgīlāla Śrī Kṛṣṇa is captivatingly curved: His enchanting eyes, His tilted face from which rasa-filled words flow, His charming crown, and even His mysterious, playful ways. Each steals the heart at once. [1]
His softly curling locks, His Vaijayantī garland gracefully winding around His neck, and the beautiful bulāka adorning His nose have so captivated me that His enchanting form has taken up permanent residence within my heart. [2]
Sweetly tinkling anklets adorn His gracefully curved feet, and when He begins to play His melodious flute, its irresistible sweetness steals my very heart away. [3]
Śrī Māyārāma Jī says, “As soon as I contemplate that exquisitely curved Tribhaṅgī form of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, crowned with His loosely and charmingly wrapped turban, my mind is drawn entirely into Him, becoming so completely absorbed that nothing else remains.” [4]
