We have no understanding of the scriptures; we did not understand them before, nor do we truly understand them even now. But those great souls who have grasped their innermost essence, the path of single-minded and exclusive bhajana, have shown us what to do. We shall simply walk the path they have revealed. [1]
We shall follow only that unique path taught by the supremely learned Ācāryas, the path embraced by the exclusive rasikas. We shall not become needlessly entangled by repeatedly plunging into the stream of academic learning. [2]
Having once tasted the nectarean rasa of the divine keli of Braj, why should we become entangled again in disputes over conflicting doctrines? Śrī Nāgarīdāsa Jī declares, “Dwelling in Śrī Vṛndāvana, we shall never turn our hearts away from Nitya-Vihāra (eternal love-play) of the divine couple. With exclusive devotion, we shall remain absorbed in its bhajana and forever sing this eternal rasa.” [3]
