(Raag Malar)
Tum Taji Aur Kaun Pai Jaun?
Kakain Dvaar Jaai Sir Naaoon, Par Hath Kahan Bikaun. [1]
Aisau Ko Data Hain Samarath, Jake Dien Aghaun.
Ant Kaal Tumharaun Sumiran Gati, Anat Kahun Nahin Daun. [2]
Rank Sudama Kiyau Ajachi, Diyau Abhaya-Pad Thaun.
Kamadhenu, Chintamani, Dinhaun, Kalpavrichchh-Tar Chaun. [3]
Bhav-Samudr Ati Dekhi Bhayanak, Man Main Adhik Daraun.
Kijai Kripa Sumiri Apanau Pran, Suradas Bali Jaun. [4]
- Shri Suradas, Surasagar (164)
O Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa! Other than You, to whom could I possibly turn? Whose door could I bow my head to, and why should I place myself in the hands of another? You alone are my refuge, why should I seek shelter anywhere else? [1]
Who else is there as powerful and generous as You, whose giving leaves one completely fulfilled? Even at the final moment of my life, remembrance of You alone is my supreme refuge and ultimate destination. Apart from You, I have nowhere else to turn, nor have I placed my hopes in anyone else. [2]
You blessed the poor Sudāmā with such abundance that he never again had any need to ask from another, and You granted him a fearless state. For those who take shelter in You, You are like the divine wish-fulfilling cow, the wish-fulfilling jewel, and the sheltering wish-fulfilling tree, fulfilling all their heartfelt desires. [3]
My heart trembles with fear at the sight of this dreadful ocean of worldly existence. O Lord! Remember Your solemn vow to protect those who take refuge in You, and graciously shower Your mercy upon me. Sūradāsa Jī says, “I offer myself entirely unto You.” [4]
