(Raag Nat)
Laal Kain Yah Man Lalak Rahai.
Kabahun Priya Prasann Badan Hvai, Mo Tan Nainku Chahai. [1]
Aru Yug Charan Charu Javak Ke, Chitr Surang Banaun.
Puni Anurag Kamal Mukh Ten Jab, Biri Khandit Paaoon. [2]
Apanen Hi Kar Te Nakh-Sikh Laun, Bhushan Vasan Banaun.
'Hit Dhruv' Ahanish Yahai Bicharat, Kaisaihun Priyahi Rijhaun. [3]
- Shri Hit Dhruvadas, Bayalis Lila, Padyavali (27)
Within the heart of Śrī Lālajī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), a constant longing ever resides—
When will Śrī Priyājī (Śrī Rādhā), being pleased, cast even a gentle glance toward Me? [1]
When will I be blessed with the good fortune to adorn the beautiful feet of Śrī Priyājī with intricate designs made of red mahāvara using my own hands? Pleased by this loving service, may She grant Me, as prasāda, the tāmbūla-bīṛī (betel leaf) that She has chewed, receiving which I shall consider Myself completely blessed and fulfilled. [2]
When will I adorn Śrī Priyājī, from head to toe, with beautiful garments and ornaments with My own hands? Śrī Hita Dhruvadāsajī says that Śrī Lālajī remains absorbed in this very thought day and night, at every moment, contemplating how He may please Śrī Priyājī and make Her happy. [3]
