- Shri Ramasakhiji Maharaj, Shri Bhaktiras Manjari

Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the crest-jewel among rasikas, eternally dances, illuminated by a supremely brilliant effulgence. Sweetly uttering the rhythmic sound "theī-theī," He steals the hearts of all the young maidens of Vraja and shatters the pride of millions of Cupids. [1]

An exquisite crown adorns His head, and crocodile-shaped earrings grace His ears; beholding their matchless splendor, even the intellect remains lost in thought, searching for a suitable simile. His eyebrows are like bows, His eyes resemble the finest khañjana birds, and curly locks of hair hang over His face. [2]

The locks hanging upon His cheeks, the beautiful pearl on His nose, and the immense charm of His lips and row of teeth are exceedingly magnificent. The mole upon His chin appears as though darkness itself has come to take shelter in Him. Śrī Rāmasakhījī sacrifices herself entirely unto Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa's beauty. [3]
