If an ignorant being fails to acknowledge the supreme nectar called Nitya Vihar rasa of Sri Vrindavan and instead becomes entangled in rituals and ceremonies, giving them undue significance, He inadvertently disrespects the devotional rasa [nectar like] bhajan of Vrindavan.
A devoted rasika follower should exclusively follow the loving traditions of rasa-upāsanā taught in Śrī Vṛndāvana, remaining free from dependence upon external restrictions and injunctions, while remaining wholly absorbed in the worship of rasa bhajana.
Śrī Dhruvdās Jī states that the happiness of devotional practice filled with divine rasa, the association of rasika saints, and residence in Śrī Vṛndāvana—all these are attained only through grace. Therefore, one should understand the value of this rare opportunity and make it meaningful.
