Sanat Kumar Samhita

Lord Hans had four disciples. Those four disciples were Lord Brahma's four sons Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatana and Sanat. These four wrote the books describing 'Ashtayam Leela' and 'Gopi Bhava Upasana', scripting the teachings of Lord Hans. These books are also called Sanatkumar Samhita.

   Lord Shiva says to Narada - O sage, it is the Lord who is the son of Vasudeva and the king of Mathura who goes to Mathura. The son of Nanda never leaves Vrindavan. He merely hides in the sacred groves of Vrindavan.

    In the three worlds, earth is blessed; within it, Jambudweep is best. Within Jambudvipa, Bharat Varsha (India) is blessed, and within Bharat, Mathura Puri is the best. In Mathura Puri, Vrindavan is the best, within which the group of Gopis are the best. Among the Gopis, the group of Radha’s Sakhis is the best, and among Radha’s Sakhis, Shri Radhika is the best of all.

    Lord Shiva says to sage Narad: Become a devoted servant of Shri Radhika and remain unwaveringly dedicated to her service. The pinnacle of devotion lies in loving Shri Radhika even more profoundly than Shri Krishn.

16. Krta Yugmen Sa Keli - Sanat Kumar Samhita (31.74 - 31.76)

    When the divine couple engaged in their divine love-play known as ‘Keli’, it was during this moment that the anklets of Sri Radha produced a transcendental sound, formally known as ‘Shabad Brahman’ [a divine sound]. This very 'Shabad' gave rise to the manifestation of 'Mayatit Purush' [a transcendental being beyond illusion], through which Prakriti and Purush (Mayantaryami) appeared. Through them, Lord Narayan is manifested, and then from His navel, Lord Brahma, the foremost scholar of the Vedas, appeared. Through Him, Mahadev and other Prajapatis appeared.

    The sincere aspirant should seek refuge in the 'Sakhi Bhava' of Shri Krishna's beloved, Sri Radhika, from His inner self, and should wholeheartedly devote Himself to the continuous service of both Shri Radha and Krishna, renouncing all forms of laziness.

    Once, Shri Radha performed the most sacred Keli pastimes with Shri Krishn, due to which the beads of sweat came, seeing this, Shri Lalita ji, the best among the sakhis, said: Due to your endeavor, the most sacred beads have appeared on Your faces. Certainly, a river should appear from this which we all sakhis will drink as your prasad. The water that appeared from Your Keli is most pious. If you are happy, then please create a river out of it. In this way, after listening to the words of Sri Lalita ji, the divine couple revealed the holiest river Shri Yamuna ji.

    Magnificent Vrindavan which is situated on the bank of the Yamuna in Mathura Mandal is beautifully surrounded by various vines, creepers, trees, and twigs. The trees always remain lush green and all the seasons remain the same. Every living being is naturally absorbed in the remembrance of the divine couple Shri Radha Krishn there.

    There are various kinds of Kunjas [bowers] for Shri Krishna's Vihara. Although they are innumerable, yet they are roughly around a thousand in number in the gross realm. These Kunjas are so beautiful and bright with their radiance that defeats the glow of all the other abodes.
