Shri Tulsidas (1532–1623), also known as Goswami Tulsidas, was a Hindu Vaishnava saint and poet, renowned for his devotion to the deity Rama, an author of famous Shri Ram Charit Manas.

    Goswāmī Tulsīdās poetically says that when he weighed the rasas of Śrī Vṛndāvana dhāma and Vaikuṇṭha dhāma on a balance, Vṛndāvana was so rich in divine love that it outweighed Vaikuṇṭha by a margin as great as the distance between earth and sky. Vṛndāvana remained firmly grounded on the scale, while Vaikuṇṭha rose upward. Such is the incomparable nectar of Vṛndāvana.
