Whenever a devotee graces one’s home with their presence, one should lovingly offer four priceless jewels— an honourable seat, refreshing water, gentle and affectionate words, and food according to one’s capacity.
One should never associate with a worldly brāhmaṇa who is averse to the Lord; in comparison, even the association of a Vaiṣṇava devotee of Lord Hari, though born as an outcaste, is far superior.
