Within the dense kuñjas of Śrī Vṛndāvana, the rasa-filled, fragrant, and cooling breeze gently blows. The transcendental plays of divine love that unfold in Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana are such that nowhere throughout the three worlds can a rasa-līlā of such incomparable sweetness be found.
Śrī Dāmodara Dāsa says, “If, overcome by the craving for material wealth, I ever turn my back upon Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana and depart for some other place, then I deserve to gouge out my own eyes.”
Blessed indeed, and most fortunate, are the confectioners who reside in the sacred abode of Śrī Vṛndāvana. With deep love and devotion, they prepare exquisite sweets such as jalebī, khurmā, khājā, mālāī, and many other delicacies.
In that Śrī Vṛndāvana where Śrī Kṛṣṇacandra eternally and blissfully performs His pastimes, and where an uninterrupted flow of tireless, divine love-pastimes ever exists, may my mind always remain deeply attached, like a humming bee hovering over the lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā Mahārānī.
In the secluded groves of Śrī Vṛndāvana, tender new leaves and blossoming flowers adorn every bower, while a cool, gentle, and fragrant threefold breeze blows softly.
O Śrī Rādhā! Please bestow such mercy upon me that I may attain eternal residence in Śrī Vṛndāvana. Granting me a place within Your own kunja-palace, please bless me with Your personal service.
The ever-youthful divine Couple, Śrī Śyāmā-Śyāma, who captivate the hearts of all, eternally relish the supremely divine nectar of nitya-vihāra within the secluded groves of Śrī Vṛndāvana, accompanied by Their intimate circle of sahacharīs.
When will that blessed moment come when, in utter humility, I shall fall at the feet of the rasika saints and shed tears in longing? And when shall I attain that state in which, deprived of the darśana of my Beloved Lord, I become as restless as a fish struggling without water?
Throughout the three phases of time — past, present, and future — Śrī Rādhā’s maidservant has no desire other than to serve Śrī Rādhā’s lotus feet and remains forever submerged in the limitless ocean of the bliss arising from Śrī Rādhā’s pure love.
All glories to Śrī Govindadeva Jī eternally, and all glories to Gopīnāth Brahmacārī.
Blessed indeed are the quails and partridges of Śrī Vṛndāvana. Out of fear of hawks, they remain hidden within the shelter of the groves day and night. Yet they never leave Vṛndāvana or fly elsewhere, always remaining under the refuge of its sacred nikunjas.
The form of Śrī Gopāla Jī, the very source of all bliss, is supremely enchanting. He eternally delights in loving pastimes within the rasa-filled groves of Śrī Vṛndāvana.
If I should ever leave Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma and go to any other place, then I firmly declare that you must never call me by the name Dāmodara, considering me a fallen soul who has strayed from this exclusive devotion. Indeed, my very existence, identity, and life are completely bound to Śrī Vṛndāvana alone.
Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana is supremely sweet and the bestower of all happiness. Any person who resides here with deep devotion naturally becomes a treasure-house of divine rasa.
How can my insignificant words ever describe this supremely divine bliss of love? The intimate manner in which the divine couple, Śrī Rādhā-Mohana, eternally relish Their amorous love-plays (nitya-vihāra) upon the beautiful banks of the Yamunā in the sacred abode of Śrī Vṛndāvana is entirely beyond the power of speech.
Wander through the lanes of Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma like one madly absorbed in the love of Śyāmā-Śyāma. O sakhī! Even if someone asks you something along the way, reply only by uttering “Śyāmā-Śyāma”; otherwise, remain silent.
Although I was not fortunate enough to take birth in the sacred dust of Vraja, my only desire now is to reside ceaselessly in Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana and constantly behold and contemplate upon the enchanting form of the divine Couple, Śrī Rādhā Kṛṣṇa.
Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma is an unparalleled abode, whose glory transcends all comparison. To reside within this sacred land and to attain death upon the holy banks of Śrī Yamunā are both supremely auspicious and bestow transcendental bliss.
I offer my repeated salutations unto the supremely sacred Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma, where attaining even the position of a tiny blade of grass is extremely rare for divine beings such as Lord Brahmā. Yet this divine abode is ever eager to grant supreme support and shelter to insignificant souls like ourselves.
Śrī Rādhā’s intimate companion, Śrī Vipulabihāriṇīdāsī, says to her soul-beloved sakhi (Śrī Rādhā) — O beloved Priyā Jū! Please meet and sport together with Śrī Mohanalāla (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) as per your heartfelt wish. When you become intoxicated in divine rasa and engage in amorous plays of love with your beloved Kuñjabihārī, then only our body, mind, and very life-breath blossom with joy, as though every pore of our being becomes completely fulfilled in every way.
