Raag Jila belongs to Kafi Thaat. The atmosphere created by this Raag is most suitable for both types of Shringar (Separation & Union). Raag Jila is sung at night between 9 PM to 12 AM.

Oh sakhī! Without beholding the dark-complexioned Śrī Kṛṣṇa, I find not a moment of peace. My heart remains restless at every moment, for my eyes thirst constantly to gaze upon His incomparable beauty.
O Svāminī, kindly grant me residence within Your own divine abode, Śrī Vṛndāvana. O Compassionate One, why is it that You have forgotten me from Your remembrance? Alas, O Rādhe! Why have You deprived me of the service of Your divine palace? What offense have I committed that You have kept it hidden within Your heart?
O Svāminī, setting aside all my faults and failings, kindly look upon me with Your grace and grant me residence within the Nikunja. Nowhere in the three worlds have I ever seen or even heard of a pair as charming and enchanting as the divine Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa.
Now I truly feel the need to go to Śrī Vṛndāvan. O Queen of Vṛndāvan, I know only You can grant me residence in Vṛndāvan. Please have mercy on me now and bless me with the dwelling in Shri Dham Vrindavan.
My heartfelt desire is to wander ceaselessly along the banks of the Yamuna in the sacred realm of Vrindavan.
O friend, I must contemplate Shri Vrindavan exclusively because the soul motive of my life now is to increase my love exclusively at the lotus feet of the fair and dark-complexioned divine couple Sri Radha Krishn.
Shri Narayan Swami [situated in the form of a Sakhi] says to another Sakhi "Today, on the way, I saw the beautiful divine couple Shri Radha Krishn coming from the arbors, whose form was very enchanting, and unparalleled which is very pleasing to my heart."
We will not listen to anyone [who restricts us from going to Vrindavan] and will surely go to Vrindavan. We will eat whatever Shri Radha Krishn will provide us to eat.
Shri Narayan Swami says, "Whoever is blessed with a glimpse of Shri Krishn, the condition of His heart becomes very strange. His home, food, clothes, etc doesn't appeal Him and He runs towards Vrindavan."
We will go to Vrindavan and plunder the nectar of Vrindavan. We will sit under the shades of the enchanting groves of Vrindavan and do the association of Rasik saints.
This is the hymn written by Shri Lalit Kishori before his arrival at Vrindavan. He says, " I have intently decided and desired that I have to go only to Vrindavan now. I wish to exclusively love the divine couple, Shri Radha Krishn, who are the crest jewels of all the rasiks, very colourful and jovial, and always remain drenched in love sentiments. ''
The one who shows us the path of Vrindavan is our true friend and well wisher. The one who plunges us in the glimpses of Shri Radha Krishn is our true beloved.
If one gains abode in Śrī Vṛndāvana, no other holy site is needed. If one chants the divine Couple’s name, no other name matters.
O Śrī Rādhe! Grant me abode in Śrī Vṛndāvana, on Yamunā’s enchanting banks amid rasika saints’ company—this alone my heart’s longing.
