Raag Khamaj is a Hindustani classical raga within the Khamaj Thaat which is named after it. This Raag is an ideal melodic format for both types of Shringars, Vipralambh (Separation) and Uttan (Union) Shringar. Raag Khamaj is sung at night between 9 PM to 12 AM.
