Today, the eternal youthful Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, are blossoming like the spring season itself. Fair-complexioned Kiśorī Jī has placed Her arm upon the shoulder of Śyāmasundara, and He appears beautifully sheltered within the embrace of Her arms.
Śrī Vṛṣabhānu’s charming daughter, Śrī Rādhā, is engaged in the plays of the spring season, where Her ever-new beloved Śyāmasundara is also present.
Kiśorī Jī (Śrī Rādhā) says to Lāl Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa): O Beloved! Come, let us go and play vasanta (spring) season plays together on the banks of Śrī Yamunā. In the forest bowers, the new season has arrived, and fresh flowers have blossomed everywhere.
O sakhi! In this Vasant season, the trees and vines have fully blossomed, filling the entire forest with the intoxicating fragrance of flowers.
This divine season of Vasant (spring), now graced by the presence of the divine couple, Shri Radha-Krishna, is utterly enchanting, filling the heart with immense joy.
Come, let us go! Spring has arrived in Vrindavan. Clusters of blooming flowers sway gracefully, while the gentle breeze spreads their sweet fragrance far and wide.
In the splendid spring season, the lush forests of Vrindavan bloom with joy as the vines sway gracefully. New buds and many colorful flowers blossom, while lotuses and bees indulge in their sweet play.
A Sakhi says to Shri Radha, “O Shri Radhe! Come, your beloved Shyamsundar is calling you. Just see, He is melodiously singing your name through the sweet tunes of His flute.”
Ever-new is ‘Kishor’ (Shri Krishna), ever-new is ‘Nagari’ (Shri Radha), everything is adorned in fresh splendor. Ever-new is Vrindavan, ever-new are the blossoms, and ever-new is the king of seasons, spring (Basant).
Shri Gopala is pleased only by pure, effortless love, free from any trace of pretense or artificiality. O friend, when I gaze upon the beloved face of Sri Krishna, my heart is filled with immense joy, and when His eyes meet mine, my bliss knows no bounds.
In the divine abode of Shri Vrindavan, Shri Radha, immersed in the perpetual love-play of ‘Nitya Vihar’, joyfully showers Lal (Shri Krishna) with vibrant hues of love. Brimming with ecstasy, she gracefully scatters gulal, a powder crafted from flower pollen, into the sky with her delicate hands.
O Gopal, I beg you, refrain from sprinkling gulal into my eyes, for they are perpetually fixed upon your moon-like face like a chakora bird. Please do not create disturbance in it.
Sri Shyamsundara, the captivating enchanter of Cupid, is playing the festival of Basant today. Accompanying him is the ever-youthful Kishoriji, the crown jewel among the Sakhis, the eternal beloved of Shri Shyamsundara.
The eternal divine couple, Shri Shyam Shyam, immersed in the colors of love, are celebrating Holi during the Basant season. Both overflow with love as they tenderly embrace each other.
Describing the sight of spring, a Sakhi (Bitthalbipul Devji) says, our divine couple Shri Bihari Biharini Ju are strolling in the forests of Vrindavan, lovingly showering ever-new colors of divine love.
O sakhi, In this season of spring, behold Shri Kunjbihari like a statue. Nectar is showering from His ever-new and youthful body.
Shri Krishn says to Shri Radha, oh friend, come, let us play far away from the crowd. Let us enter inside the lovely forest’s arbors.
Shri Bihari Ji [Lord Krishn] is playing the game of Vasant (festival of colors). All Sakhis are present there joyfully. Shri Kishori Ji [Shri Radha], who is bright with Her beauty is also present.
O Sakhi! The divine couple Shri Radha Krishn performs Keli [love-play] in the ever-new Nikunjas of Vrindavan. They are embracing each other the same way vines wrapped themselves around the Tamal Tree.
Today, my worshipful deity, Shri Priya Ji [Sri Radha] is enraptured with joy in the Nitya Vihar nectar. Shri Lalit Mohini’s eternal companion [Shri Radha] whose form glitters with transcendental nectar, who sways intoxicatedly, and who is embracing Shri Shyamsundar, and bestowing nectar.
