The experience of pure love transcends the boundaries of words. Neither can speech fully express it, nor can reason explain it. The true state of this love is known either to the heart of the one immersed in love, or it is reflected through the eyes of the lover.
It is impossible to describe with mere words the beauty of the ever-fresh bowers (navala-nikuñja) at Vaṁśīvaṭa in Vṛndāvana. To experience it, one’s heart must be completely saturated with devotion, and one’s eyes must be filled with divine sweetness (mādhurya).
If the sweetness of Vaṁśīvaṭa is to be described, then first fill your eyes with its divine nectar. Then let your eyes become your tongue, and your tongue become your eyes.
