Wander through the lanes of Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma like one madly absorbed in the love of Śyāmā-Śyāma. O sakhī! Even if someone asks you something along the way, reply only by uttering “Śyāmā-Śyāma”; otherwise, remain silent.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Śrī Rādhā are eternally one, yet in Vṛndāvana, they appear as two forms bearing two names—Kṛṣṇa, the embodiment of bliss, and Rādhā, His bliss-giving potency (hlādinī)—to engage in the plays of love as a divine couple.
I offer my repeated salutations unto the supremely sacred Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma, where attaining even the position of a tiny blade of grass is extremely rare for divine beings such as Lord Brahmā. Yet this divine abode is ever eager to grant supreme support and shelter to insignificant souls like ourselves.
Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma is absolutely enchanting, and the sacred land of Braja is supremely delightful. The Names of Śyāmā-Śyāma are supremely auspicious and enchanting, and Their divine abode is the very temple of bliss itself.
My heart is captivated by the one and only Manmohana, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Some engage in japa, others perform austerities, some observe vows, while others wander into forests to sit absorbed in samādhi.
O mind, now reside forever in Śrī Vṛndāvana alone. Abandon all insignificant worldly hopes and take refuge exclusively in the lotus feet of your Svāminī, Śrī Rādhā Mahārāṇī Jū.
Śrī Vṛndāvana is the sacred refuge of Rasikācārya Śrī Hita Harivaṁśa Mahāprabhu Jī. There, all the rasika devotees continuously chant the holy name “Rādhā, Rādhā.”
This sacred abode of Barsānā is the source of life of the residents of Braja. The glory of its divine palace shines with extraordinary beauty, spreading bliss and appearing as the most charming of all.

O deluded soul! As your family expanded — as dear ones, children, spouse, wealth, and prosperity increased — so too did you sink ever deeper into the enjoyment of worldly pleasures, to the point that you forgot the true purpose of your life. O foolish one! Do you truly believe temporary wealth is the measure of real success? Remember — your birth was meant solely for the upliftment of your own soul.
Lord Brahmā and Indra say, “We do not desire the sovereignty of Brahmaloka or even the throne of heaven. If we could obtain the fortune of becoming even a single tree in Braj, we would remain there forever.”
Absorbed in Their intimate kelī, the divine couple, Priyā–Priyatam, appear irresistibly enchanting as They become one in body and mind. The sweetness of each of Their limbs shines beautifully, and the kuñja-mahal serves as the hidden abode of Their love-filled pastimes.
The colorful festival of Holī, which delights everyone’s heart, has arrived. The humming of bumblebees, amidst fresh leaves and blossoms in Śrī Dhām Vṛndāvan, appears utterly mesmerizing.
Give up worldly pleasures and make such an effort that you may attain residence in Śrī Dhām Vṛndāvan, the capital city of rasik devotees, in the association of rasikas. Then, there among the vines and leaves, behold the divine plays of love of the divine couple, Śrī Śyāmā–Śyām.
O Śrī Vṛndāvan Dhām, all glories to you. You are an unfathomable ocean of compassion, the very life-breath of rasik devotees, and a divine forest overflowing with rasa-filled līlās—all glory to you.
O Sakhī! Śrī Kṛṣṇa plays the sweet melody of the flute at Vaṁśīvaṭa. Along the supremely sacred and beautiful banks of the Yamunā in Śrī Dhām Vṛndāvana, spring ever prevails.
The unfathomable glory of the supremely sacred Śrī Dhām Vṛndāvan is impossible to describe. By merely touching its holy dust, even the greatest sinner is effortlessly lifted across the ocean of material existence. [1]
At times they seem like a pair of lotuses arisen from the ocean of beauty, at times like the ones who steal even the heart of Cupid himself.
To humble souls, He effortlessly bestows eternal residence in Śrī Dhām Vṛndāvan. Therefore, one must immerse oneself in the loving devotion of Śrī Swami Haridās by constantly engaging in the nitya-vihāra-rasa of the Divine Couple, Śrī Śyāma Kunjbihārī.
O Swāminī, You are the infinite source of divine love-bliss. Why, then, have You hidden that supreme treasure and let my mind become entangled in the worthless chaff of mundane affairs and worldly pleasures?
