    Madhuvan is one of the famous 12 forests of Braj. In Satyuga, Lord Hari killed a demon named Madhu here. Because of this, He became known as Madhusudan. Therefore, this forest is named Madhuvan after the name of Lord Shri Madhusudan, because this forest is as dear and sweet as Lord Shri Madhusudan.

18. Biography of Shri Chhita Swami

    Shri Chhitaswami was one of the eight Sakhas (childhood friends) of Shrinathji and was one of the Ashtachap devotees in Pushtimarg. He was a Brajwasi and was born in Mathura in the year 1515 in the Chaubey family. Later on, Chhitaswami took refuge in the lotus feet of Gusain Shri Vitthalnath Ji and used to sing padas for Shrinathji.
