Today, the eternal youthful Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, are blossoming like the spring season itself. Fair-complexioned Kiśorī Jī has placed Her arm upon the shoulder of Śyāmasundara, and He appears beautifully sheltered within the embrace of Her arms.
Our beloved Lāḍilī Jī (Śrī Rādhā) is an unfathomable lake of divine beauty, within which the various limbs of Her form eternally bloom like lotuses in natural grace — Her two lotus hands, two lotus feet, lotus-like navel, two lotus eyes, lotus face, and Her beautifully elevated lotus-like bosom — these ten lotus-like splendors forever remain fully blossomed.
In the ever-new Nikunja palace, today a festival of colors, Holī, unfolds. On one side stands Śrī Kiśorījī, and on the other stands Śrī Śyāmasundara, firm and enthusiastic.
In the evergoing plays of love (Nitya-Vihāra), Śrī Bhagavat Ali Ji — absorbed in the loving service of Śyāmā–Śyām — narrates: In that state, when the Divine Couple had become impatient with longing, They drew close to my ears, touching Them gently, and bestowing tender kisses as loving offerings. While doing so, they said: “O beloved sakhi! I sacrifice myself to you. In whatever way, this time you must ensure my victory!”
When Shri Krishn humbly falls at Shri Radha’s feet and pleads with utmost tenderness, that very act becomes the essence of Śṛṅgāra Rasa (the divine sentiment of love). And when Shri Kishoriji, moved by His soft-hearted words, melts in compassion and abandons her loving anger (māna), speaking gentle, affectionate words in return—that defines Karuṇa Rasa (the mood of divine compassion).
This divine ‘Rasa Reeti’ (mode of love) of the divine couple, Priya-Pritam—known as Nitya Vihar Rasa—is like raindrops from the dark Swati star. Just as this drop takes on different forms based on the recipient—camphor in the banana tree, nectar in the lotus, life in the papihā bird, and a pearl in the oyster—so too does this pure rasa transform according to the heart (pātra) it touches.
Sri Bhagavata Rasika Ji declares that just as a lifeless body can never be revived by any medicine or external effort, so too, a monotonous heart that has never experienced rasa (nectar) remains unable to grasp its essence, regardless of explanations or teachings.
Completely immersed in the ecstasy of divine love, the divine couple (Sri Radha Krishna) are dancing together in a secluded place. Engrossed in ever-new expressions of amorous pastimes, their every movement emits countless charming gestures and moods.
I am neither Hindu, Muslim, Jain, nor Christian. I am a soul intoxicated with love, forever adorning the flower bed of the divine couple, Sri Radha Krishna, as a Sahchari (a devoted companion).
The divine couple’s eyes are drenched in intoxication. Awakened with a yawn, their garments and ornaments are disheveled, their joy and satisfaction unwaning.
Today, the most enchanting Shri Kishori ji (Shri Radha), intoxicated in love bliss, walks in a swaying mode. She is drenched in the hue of intimate love for her beloved Shyamsundar, and showers the bliss as she unravels the treasure of her virtues expressing a myriad of playful gestures through every pore of Her being.
Just as a lustful man finds a woman extremely dear and a miser finds wealth extremely dear, similarly the rasika devotees naturally find Śrī Śyāma-Śyām most dear.
We are neither Hindus nor Muslims, neither Jains nor Christians. We have but one identity and one service alone: as sakhīs, we remain exclusively absorbed in lovingly arranging the flower-bed of our divine Beloved Couple within the eternal nikunja and serving Them without interruption.
The lake of nitya-vihāra is filled with the nectar of perfectly pure Kelī love-plays. Waves of sidelong glances ripple across its waters, while eighteen wondrous lotuses bloom within it. Ten lotuses belong to Śrī Kiśorī Jī's transcendental form—Her two hands, two feet, two eyes, two breasts, navel, and lotus face—and eight belong to Śrī Lāl Jī—His two hands, two feet, two eyes, navel, and lotus face. Together they form the eighteen lotuses adorning this divine lake.
The Supreme essence, whom the Vedas describe as inaccessible and difficult to attain, is effortlessly accessible to the rasikas in the form of the divine Couple, Śrī Lāḍilī-Lāla. Furthermore, these rasikas act as brokers of divine love who can enable others to attain this loving couple as well.
Shri Kishori Ji [Shri Radha] teaches the music of the divine pastimes of love to Shri Lal Ji [Shri Krishna] in a very luscious manner.
Reclining upon a bed of flowers, the divine youthful couple are at this moment relishing the bliss of Their loving embrace. Delighted with the intimate service rendered during this supremely blissful pastime, they repeatedly bestow the prasāda of their repeated affectionate kisses upon Sakhī Śrī Bhagavat-Ali.
The divine couple, Shri Radha Krishn, who is the abode of all happiness, is resting in a bed made up of flowers under the shades of beautiful vines.
Shri Krishn, enslaved by the nectar of divine love, worships the Lotus Feet of his beloved Shri Radha and embraces those Lotus Feet to His heart.
