This divine forest (Śrī Vṛndāvana, or Barsānā Dhāma) alone is my ultimate refuge. It is my master, my mother, my father, and my dearest companion. May I dwell forever within this sacred grove in complete fearlessness, and may my mind never wander away from it toward any other place.
(A sakhī says:) O Śrī Rādhā, I understand the feelings of Your heart. The humble and pleading words of Your beloved, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, melt Your heart at once, for You are the true nourisher and protector of the sacred vow of divine love.
I bow again and again to that Lord Śiva who is pleased solely by ‘Bhakti’ (devotion). Renowned throughout the world as Gopeśvara — the Lord of the gopīs — He stands as the guardian and protector of Vṛndāvana.
The rare path of Vṛndāvan-rasa (the nectar of Vrindavan), which even Brahmā, Śeṣanāga, and Lord Śiva yearn for, yet which remained inaccessible since time immemorial, is now made attainable. O crown-jewel of rasika devotees, Śrī Hit Harivaṃś Mahāprabhu, all glories to you.
Some call Him “Alakh‑Anant” (the Unseen and Infinite), while others describe Him as Brahman (formless), and some as divine light.
Shri Radha says to Lalita — “O Lalita! Why do you reveal the private, intimate pastimes of love of my beloved, letting the stream of rasa overflow?”
What is past is past, O Lord — please do not be harsh now. Shri Hit Vrindavan Das Ji humbly prays: “Please hold this servant’s honor in Your heart and bestow Your merciful grace upon me.”
On the sacred banks of Śrī Yamunā within the realm of Śrī Dham Vṛndāvan, the group of saints forever remains present; peacocks dance, and parrots with their melodious voice fill the air with rasa. This is the most intimate personal abode of Śrī Rādhājū.
O beloved of Radha (Shri Krishna)! You are my one and only refuge—there is no other shelter for me. Shri Hit Vrindavan Das says: “I sacrifice myself to You, kindly bestow upon me the fortune of serving in the ever-new groves (nikunjas) of Your sacred Shri Vrindavan Dham.”

Once, Shri Rooplal Ji and Chacha Hit Vrindavan Das Ji participated in a festival in Barsana. After the festival concluded, Shri Hitroopalal Ji became absorbed in the thoughts of Shri Vrishbhanu Nandini (Shri Radha) while holding onto a creeper in a kunj (grove) in Barsana.
If the heart is devoid of love and the mouth does not utter the names “Radha Shyam,” then, O Vrindavan Das, this human life is in vain.
The rasa of Vrindavan is supreme. The Ananya Rasika saints gain unparalleled strength from this rasa, while a mind devoid of this essence is blind and like an animal.
The ‘Vanis’ (writings) of the Rasika saints are like love letters, where everything is detailed. Those who read these letters, comprehend them deeply, and then walk in the path of their teachings are destined to find their way to the beloved’s home.
The ‘Vanis’ (writings) of the Rasika saints are like a palanquin, that appeared in this world specifically to carry the Rasika aspirants. Those who merely applauded them by saying “Wow Wow” remained in this world, while those who ascended upon it (immersing themselves lovingly in the verses) reached the realm of bliss.
