Śrī Vṛṣabhānu-dulārī Śrī Rādhā, accompanied by Her sakhīs led by Lalitā, has arrived in a beautiful flower garden with immense joy. This lovely garden, adorned with a variety of blossoms such as mālatī, kunda, nivārī, and roses, is scattering its sweet fragrance in all directions.
Filled with intense restlessness, Śrī Kṛṣṇa repeatedly gazes toward the very path upon which Śrī Rādhā’s lotus feet have fallen. His cakora-like eyes are intensely eager to behold the moon-like face of His beloved Śrī Rādhā.
O Kiśorī Jī! Please grant me eternal residence in Your supremely sacred abode of Barsānā. O ever-youthful Princess Śrī Rādhā, the glorious ornament of Kīrtī Jī’s noble lineage! Kindly hear my prayer and, out of Your causeless mercy, accept me as Your own maidservant.
Śrī Rādhā Mahārāṇī Jū, the very embodiment of unfathomable beauty and knower of every divine art, alone is my worshipful deity.
Śrī Rādhā is the sovereign of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s heart, and Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the sovereign of Śrī Rādhā’s heart. They eternally reside within one another’s hearts. Because of this perfect oneness of love, they wear garments that resemble each other’s complexion, i.e., Śrī Rādhā wears blue garments, while Śrī Kṛṣṇa wears yellow garments, and they move together with the same graceful gait.
Obeisance to Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who engages in Nitya Vihār within the divine nikunjas, who is ever-united with His beloved Śrī Rādhā, forever resplendent, engaged in ever-fresh love-plays.
When Nanda's son Śrī Kṛṣṇa, filled with supreme love, bowed down at the lotus feet of Pyarī Jū (Śrī Rādhā) and touched those lotus feet, Priyā Jī’s loving mana (sulk) was appeased, and She became pleased. Thus, all the sorrow and anguish of separation were completely dispelled.
Our beloved Śrī Pyārī Jū (Śrī Rādhā) is supremely enchanting, expert in the arts of love, tender-hearted, and infinitely lovable. She constantly pours ever-fresh streams of love upon her beloved.
The sweet sound of the anklets adorning the lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā is so enchanting that it appears as though Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s ears themselves have come and taken residence at Her feet solely to hear that divine melody. The lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā bestow the highest happiness.
O Lāḍilī, Śrī Rādhā! You alone are the greatest blessings of my life. I wander through the groves of Sevākuñja searching for You, wondering when pure love for You will arise within my heart.
A sakhī, describing the captivating beauty of Śrī Kṛṣṇa to her intimate companion, says: O sakhī! The effect of Mohana’s supremely sweet and divine glance cannot be expressed in mere words. That glance has penetrated so deeply into my heart that, however much I try to remove it, it simply will not leave.
O beloved Priyā Jū, kindly consider this prayer of mine: may your tender and rasa-filled form remain forever imprinted within my heart, day and night. May your divine form never depart from my contemplation, even if I should try to turn my mind away from it.
Within Śrī Vṛndāvana, the abode of divine rasa, adorned with ever-fresh and eternal nikunjas, our life-beloved Śrī Rādhā eternally resides, wholly absorbed in nitya-vihāra rasa. She shines in incomparable divine beauty, where Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself, overflowing with divine love, applies mahāvara to Her lotus feet and lovingly arranges and braids Her beautiful hair with the utmost tenderness.
Śrī Alī Kiśorī Jī says that though our ability extends only so far as to try somehow to fix this restless mind to Svāminī Śrī Rādhā Pyārī. Yet our beloved Lāḍilī Jī is so supremely compassionate and affectionate that, becoming pleased with even this small effort of ours, She lovingly draws us close and embraces us to Her neck (bosom).
This divine forest (Śrī Vṛndāvana, or Barsānā Dhāma) alone is my ultimate refuge. It is my master, my mother, my father, and my dearest companion. May I dwell forever within this sacred grove in complete fearlessness, and may my mind never wander away from it toward any other place.
The sakhīs are performing the ārati of the divine couple. After adorning the divine Couple in complete ornamentation, when they hold a mirror before Them and show Them Their appearances, the Beloved and His Dear One, Sri Radha, begin to smile gently. Beholding the reddish hue of betel upon Their lips and the sweetness of Their gentle smiles, the sakhīs become utterly captivated by Them.
With their arms gently resting upon each other’s shoulders, Śrī Rādhā and Śrī Kṛṣṇa smile gently. From every limb of the Priyā-Priyatama, a divine radiance of bliss overflows.
O Lalite, by your grace, such fortune has arisen — before our very eyes has appeared a supremely beautiful vision of the divine couple.
O Pyārī Jū! I wish to gaze upon You like this forever. To ward off the evil eye from your moon-like face, I would break a blade of grass and offer mustard and salt in loving devotion.
O Pyārī Rādhe, today Your eyes are extremely playful and intoxicated with love. Through the devotion of Your love and Your golden form, You have completely brought Rasikalāla Śrī Kṛṣṇa under Your control.
