   Even if a lamb longs to become a lion, desire alone can never make it one. A true lion breaks down every fence that surrounds it. How can one who remains entangled in numerous religious formalities, ritual observances, scriptural injunctions and prohibitions, sectarian identity, or other external bonds ever be compared to those exclusive rasikas whose resolve is as firm as that of a lion? A true rasika is one who has broken every other bond and established an exclusive relationship with Śrī Priyā-Priyatama alone.

   When will that blessed moment come when, in utter humility, I shall fall at the feet of the rasika saints and shed tears in longing? And when shall I attain that state in which, deprived of the darśana of my Beloved Lord, I become as restless as a fish struggling without water?

3. Piya Ko Man Pyari Priya - Braj Ke Dohe

   Śrī Rādhā is the sovereign of Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s heart, and Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the sovereign of Śrī Rādhā’s heart. They eternally reside within one another’s hearts. Because of this perfect oneness of love, they wear garments that resemble each other’s complexion, i.e., Śrī Rādhā wears blue garments, while Śrī Kṛṣṇa wears yellow garments, and they move together with the same graceful gait.

4. Jab Parase Pyari-Charan - Shri Suradas, Sur Sagar (3446.36)

   When Nanda's son Śrī Kṛṣṇa, filled with supreme love, bowed down at the lotus feet of Pyarī Jū (Śrī Rādhā) and touched those lotus feet, Priyā Jī’s loving mana (sulk) was appeased, and She became pleased. Thus, all the sorrow and anguish of separation were completely dispelled.

   How can my insignificant words ever describe this supremely divine bliss of love? The intimate manner in which the divine couple, Śrī Rādhā-Mohana, eternally relish Their amorous love-plays (nitya-vihāra) upon the beautiful banks of the Yamunā in the sacred abode of Śrī Vṛndāvana is entirely beyond the power of speech.

   Today, the eternal youthful Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, are blossoming like the spring season itself. Fair-complexioned Kiśorī Jī has placed Her arm upon the shoulder of Śyāmasundara, and He appears beautifully sheltered within the embrace of Her arms.

Our beloved Śrī Rādhā adorned Her head with a peacock feather, held a flute and cowherd’s staff in Her hands, and wore a yellow garment around Her waist. Thus, She assumed the appearance of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

    Within Śrī Vṛndāvana, the abode of divine rasa, adorned with ever-fresh and eternal nikunjas, our life-beloved Śrī Rādhā eternally resides, wholly absorbed in nitya-vihāra rasa. She shines in incomparable divine beauty, where Śrī Kṛṣṇa Himself, overflowing with divine love, applies mahāvara to Her lotus feet and lovingly arranges and braids Her beautiful hair with the utmost tenderness.

    Śrī Rādhā’s intimate companion, Śrī Vipulabihāriṇīdāsī, says to her soul-beloved sakhi (Śrī Rādhā) — O beloved Priyā Jū! Please meet and sport together with Śrī Mohanalāla (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) as per your heartfelt wish. When you become intoxicated in divine rasa and engage in amorous plays of love with your beloved Kuñjabihārī, then only our body, mind, and very life-breath blossom with joy, as though every pore of our being becomes completely fulfilled in every way.

    Alas! Will I ever behold with these very eyes the divine rāsa-vilāsa of Priyā-Priyatama? Will there ever come such a blessed time when I may reside forever in Śrī Vṛndāvana, and thereby all the longings of my heart find fulfillment?

    O Lord, You fully understand the suffering of helpless and shelterless souls. I stand at Your doorway calling out to You, yet even after hearing my cries, You remain silent. Have You become displeased after seeing the faults within my heart, or do You think I have come to You with selfish intentions?

    Again and again, Śrī Kṛṣṇa lovingly touches Śrī Rādhā’s lotus feet with His hands and repeatedly offers Himself at Her feet. With deep humility and earnest pleading, He says, “O beloved, please now give up this loving sulk.”

    Sevākuñja alone is our eternal grove-abode, where the constant service of Śrī Priyā-Priyatama is our highest goal. Such service is performed in the mood of ‘tat-sukha’ — finding happiness only in the happiness of the divine Couple. This sentiment alone is supremely pure, radiant, and forever filled with rasa. Our lineage is “Acyuta,” meaning that our entire being and identity belong solely to Śrī Kṛṣṇa.

    The sacred dust of Śrī Rādhā Jū’s lotus feet alone is my complete treasure and wealth. Through mind, speech, and actions, I remain exclusively devoted to my Śyāmā Mahārāṇī.
