Within the heart of Śrī Lālajī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), a constant longing ever resides—When will Śrī Priyājī (Śrī Rādhā), being pleased, cast even a gentle glance toward Me?
O sakhī! The beloved son of Nanda, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, has taken residence within my heart. Ever since He cast even the slightest glance towards me, turned around, and smiled sweetly, my entire life has been filled with happiness and bliss.
The lakes of Śrī Vṛndāvana are beautiful, its forests are enchanting, and its secluded bowers are dense where Śrī Rādhā eternally resides with Her beloved Śrī Lāla Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). These very bowers are the loving abode and resting place of Their divine Nitya-Vihāra. For this reason, Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana holds a place of supreme love and affection in the hearts of the rasikas.
To behold Lāla Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) alone in the puruṣa-bhāva (male beloved), and Śrī Priyā Jī (Śrī Rādhā) in triyā-bhāva (the intimate mood of a sakhī or sahacarī), and then, with completely selfless love and 'tatsukha-bhāva' (finding happiness only in their happiness), to lovingly serve the Divine Couple in Their eternal Nitya-Vihāra (love-plays), is the supreme form of worship.
Knowing me to be a sakhī of His beloved Śrī Rādhā, Śrī Lāla Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), the crest-jewel among the lovers, most affectionately places His arms around my neck and lovingly engages in the intimate plays of love with me.
The lotus feet of Śrī Rādhārānī are exceedingly beautiful, benevolent, and most dear to the hearts of devotees. They dispel every affliction and bestow all prosperity and perfection.
Perform the *āratī* of the youthful Divine Couple, the sovereign Lords of the *nikuñja*. Gaze upon the incomparable beauty of this ever-fresh Lāḍilī Jī and Her charming Lāl Jī, and let your eyes be completely satisfied.
O ocean of bliss, Śrī Lāḍilī Kiśorī Jī (Śrī Rādhā)! Just as You, by Your causeless grace, have granted me residence in Śrī Dhāma Vṛndāvana, may all the Brajavāsīs also bestow their natural glance of grace upon me, and may I never commit any offense toward any resident of Braja, even in my dreams.
May I perform the sacred āratī before my worshipful deity Śrī Rādhikā and beloved Lāl Jī (Śrī Śyāmasundara), while continually beholding with my eyes the incomparable sweetness of the divine ornaments adorning Their effortlessly beautiful limbs and Their unparalleled beauty.
Manmohana Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who is the supreme captivator, who steals the hearts of all, Himself lovingly chants the name “Rādhā” constantly, day and night.
Blessed indeed are the quails and partridges of Śrī Vṛndāvana. Out of fear of hawks, they remain hidden within the shelter of the groves day and night. Yet they never leave Vṛndāvana or fly elsewhere, always remaining under the refuge of its sacred nikunjas.
O Svāminī Jī! You already know the true condition of my mind, for no spiritual endeavor or penance can ever be accomplished through the strength of my physical body. I truly do not comprehend by what immense strength of Your causeless mercy, I have been blessed with the sacred path of Śrī Harivaṁśa Mahāprabhu, the supreme ācārya of rasopāsanā.
Today, the eternal youthful Couple, Śrī Rādhā-Kṛṣṇa, are blossoming like the spring season itself. Fair-complexioned Kiśorī Jī has placed Her arm upon the shoulder of Śyāmasundara, and He appears beautifully sheltered within the embrace of Her arms.
The supremely delicate Kiśorī Jī (Śrī Rādha) is resting upon a bed together with Her priytama Lāl Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). Deeply embraced, they are absorbed in divine loving pastimes within this most secluded nikunja, free from all hesitation or reserve.
O sakhī! Did you behold the astonishing and charming pastimes of Priyā-Priyatama today? My words are insufficient to describe such a delightful sight. Our beloved Śrī Rādhā adorned Her head with a peacock feather, held a flute and cowherd’s staff in Her hands, and wore a yellow garment around Her waist. Thus, She assumed the appearance of Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
I offer my repeated salutations unto the supremely sacred Śrī Vṛndāvana Dhāma, where attaining even the position of a tiny blade of grass is extremely rare for divine beings such as Lord Brahmā. Yet this divine abode is ever eager to grant supreme support and shelter to insignificant souls like ourselves.
Hail, hail to Śrī Rādhā, Kīrti’s charming daughter! Hail to Her who is the very source of Nanda’s son, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Hail to that Divine Mistress, the root of all bliss, who dwells as the essence of Her servant‘s hearts and remains their highest hope.
Śrī Rādhā’s intimate companion, Śrī Vipulabihāriṇīdāsī, says to her soul-beloved sakhi (Śrī Rādhā) — O beloved Priyā Jū! Please meet and sport together with Śrī Mohanalāla (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) as per your heartfelt wish. When you become intoxicated in divine rasa and engage in amorous plays of love with your beloved Kuñjabihārī, then only our body, mind, and very life-breath blossom with joy, as though every pore of our being becomes completely fulfilled in every way.
Who is there to speak, and who is there to hear? Lāl Jī (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), knows nothing apart from Śrī Rādhā. Without His beloved and only Svāminī, Śrī Rādhikā, the whole world appears empty and meaningless to Him.
The lotus feet of Śrī Rādhā Māhārānī are softer even than lotus petals and more vibrant than the deep radiance of a blooming rose. Their reddish splendor puts to shame even the tender hue of fresh mango leaves.
